The first thought that comes to my mind when I employ relatively obscure methodologies is, will this be readable? Will a Junior dev be able to grok how to use this immediately? With currying the answer has been a consistent "definitely not."

However, the filter example has me thinking differently, so kudos! I will definitely re-think this pattern next time I write a filter or similar function.
